“Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be satisfied.“Blessed are the merciful, for they shall be shown mercy.”These two Beatitudes are the driving force for Ada’s downtown Beatitudes, which is forever coming up with ways to help those in need.And this is no better exemplified than in the flurry of things Beatitudes orchestrates for this current holiday season.Beatitudes recently, for instance, put on a Thanksgiving meal that saw some 154 free meals passed out.
Bright red yard signs have been going up all over Hardin, Allen and Hancock counties of late, with the not-so-cryptic message: “We Believe in You(th).”And speaking of youth…This is an awareness/fundraising drive for Northwest Ohio’s Youth For Christ.
