Ron Headings is only one, of a handful of artisans nationwide, who craft what is referred to as: “wire trees.” Headings, who lives in Bluffton, and does arts & crafts shows locally and throughout the Midwest, takes his art form VERY seriously!So much so, that these aren’t just random pieces, if you will, but rather numerically intricate works of art.

The Mennonite Homes Communities of Ohio has four“campuses”inBluffton, which provide a continuum of care for seniors, and others, from all over the general area, including a good number of residents, over the years, who have come from the Ada area. And the activities for residents, at these campuses, are tremendously varied.
Kenton, OH- The United Way of Hardin County in partnership with Bridge Home Health and Hospice is hosting a Senior Expo, Sept. 27, 2024, at the Hardin County Fairgrounds in Kenton. The event brings together organizations that provide services to the Senior Community. Over 22 organizations will be represented. This free community event will include a complementary lunch, health screenings and door prizes. In addition to the vender displays, Ohio Northern University’s Healthwise mobile health clinic will be available for screenings and CarFit, a program that determines the proper fit and safety of your vehicle, will be on hand. Gold Sponsors for the expo include Opti-Health Physical Therapy, Quest Federal Credit Union, OhioHealth, Bridge Home Health and Hospice, Blanchard Place/ Trustwell Living, Otterbein Senior Life and Lima Memorial Hospital.
