Lake of Lights hold annual awards presentation

The Lake of Lights held its annual awards presentation recently at the Mid-Ohio Energy Conference Room in Kenton. Each year money from the event’s gate profits is distributed to area non-profit groups, charities, and organizations, based on the number of volunteer hours each group contributed to the event’s set-up, operation and tear-down. This year, Lake of Lights presented $10,692 to 29 different area charities and non-profit organizations that volunteered to help during the event. Since 2010, over $93,000 has been donated to the community through the awards program, helping many area charities, groups, and organizations develop and operate their programs. Once again, Lake of Lights wants to thank the area businesses and individuals who support our annual Christmas Holiday Celebration of Lights and Sound. Without your support, none of this would be possible. For more information about Lake of Lights, please email us at lakeoflight08@gmail.com or like us on Facebook. (Photo submitted)
