Kennedy Jones, a senior at Ada High School, competed in the state powerlifting competition held at Kenton High School on Saturday, March 15. Kennedy earned the state runner up medal in the female division lifting a total of 880 pounds. Her bench press of 180 pounds was the highest bench press of the meet in the female division. She also broke personal records in all three lifts, bench press -180 pound,s squat-370 pounds and deadlift- 330 pounds. (Photo submitted)

ADA — Ada Schools is proud to recognize Liam Vieira as he embarks on his journey with the United States Army. Liam has enlisted in active duty as a Carpentry Specialist and will ship out to Fort Jackson, South Carolina on July 15 to begin his training.
