ADA — There were 125 vehicles in the recent Ada “Park in the Park Car Show.” Each of the vehicles with their own particular stories.
ADA — New Village Administrator Amanda Sears reported to council that she was excited to now be one of the representatives to a new “Community Economic Develop Strategy” initiative. This includes a five-county region in the immediate area.

KENTON — On Saturday, July 12, the Hardin County Historical Museum ran a living history event entitled “Back in Time at the Barn” at the Heritage Farm next to the Hardin County Fairgrounds.
In the last edition of the Herald, it was noted, loosely, that Ada was somewhat of a ‘Las Vegas of the Midwest,’ gambling wise. There were billiard rooms, card rooms and so on, throughout the village. Well, that’s not the half of it.
