Roy James Justice, 81, of Alger and formerly of Ada passed away on Thursday, June 27, 2024. He was born in Floyd County, Kentucky on December 29, 1943. Roy married Beverly Prater on October 16, 1965, and she preceded him in death on March 16, 2014. Roy worked for many years at Rockwell International as a welder and worked at the Ada Carwash. He is survived by his brother, Jerry Justice of Colorado Springs, CO, Dewey Justice of Lima, sisters, Lily Rose of Wyoming, MI and Ruth Griffin of Alger. Mr. Justice was preceded in death by his son, Phillip Justice, daughter, Angela Jeffrey, brother, Raymond Justice and sister, Junell Knepper. He was a member of the Church of Christ in McGuffey. Roy was also a member of the Hardin County Sheriff’s Department, VIPS and a Marine Corp. veteran. A Celebration of Roy’s life will be held from 2:00 – 4:00 PM on Wednesday, August 14, 2024, at the SCHINDEWOLF-STOUT-CRATES FUNERAL HOME. A private family burial will take place at a later date.
