Ohio Weekly Gas Price Update
Average gasoline prices in Ohio have risen 22.7 cents per gallon in the last week, averaging $3.45/g today, according to GasBuddy’s survey of 5,345 stations in Ohio. Prices in Ohio are 10.0 cents per gallon lower than a month ago and stand 5.8 cents per gallon lower than a year ago. The national average price of diesel has fallen 1.6 cents in the last week and stands at $3.73 per gallon.

ONU Tax prof. is ‘laser’ focused (Part 2)
…on, okay, some somewhat quirky cases In one Ohio Northern University professor’s lexicon, the top three, three-letter words are: “fun, tax and IRS.” Okay, okay, IRS is not technically a word. And concurrently, “fun and taxes” wouldn’t appear in the same sentence for most of us.
Tax Law with a Twist!
When the average person thinks tax law, they, generally, think anything but: “riveting.” Yet there’s an Ohio Northern University professor who actually makes the subject come alive in, okay, not a “riveting” way, but nonetheless a pretty fascinating way. Exhibit A.

Evelyn J. Conley, age 91, of Lexington, Kentucky, formerly of Ada, passed away on Tuesday, August 13, 2024. She was born on January 29, 1933 in Alger, Ohio to the late Ray and Mary (Rambo) Symonds. Ada golfers felled by Musketeers
BLUFFTON – The Ada varsity boys golf team lost a dual match to non-league foe Fort Jennings Tuesday morning at the Bluffton Golf Course. The Musketeers defeated the Bulldogs, 186-211.
Oilers name assistant golf coach
FINDLAY — The University of Findlay department of athletics has announced the hiring of Steve Mulcahy as the new assistant men’s and women’s golf coach. “The addition of Steve Mulcahy to the staff begins an exciting new chapter to Oilers golf”, said head coach Dominic Guarnieri.
