Ada spikers sweep tri-match
ADA – The Ada volleyball team hosted and swept a non-league triangular match Saturday morning vs. Waynesfield-Goshen and Spencerville.

Jones score 100th career goal in Mustangs win
LIMA — Allen East’s girls soccer team opened conference play Monday as they defeated Lima Central Catholic 11-0 in the Northwest Conference opener for both teams. This was the T-Birds first NWC game as they rejoined the conference for the 2024-25 season.
Ada gridders rally late, squeak by Rams
McGUFFEY – The Ada football team rallied with a late defensive stand and then scored a touchdown in the final 75 seconds to avoid an upset bid by traditional arch-rival Upper Scioto Valley in the season opener last Friday night and win, 15-14.
Polar Bear golfers second
NORTH BALTIMORE — Hardin Northern’s golf team finished second Monday at the second round of the Northwest Central Conference golf tournament. The Polar Bears finished second Monday at the Birch Run Golf Course shooting a 380 team score.

DOLA — Hardin Northern’s volleyball team fell to Van Buren Monday 25-13, 25-10, 2517 in non-league action. Lainey Thomas was 10of-10 serving for the Polar Bears with two aces and 12 digs.
Bulldog boys corral Mustangs
ADA – TheAda boys soccer team scored two late goals to defeat visiting backyard rival Allen East 3-1 Saturday night at War Memorial Stadium. Ada improved to 3-1 with the victory, while AE fell to 0-2 after the loss.

ADA – TheAda girls soccer team jumped to a big lead and defeated visiting local rival Allen East 5-2 Saturday night at War Memorial Stadium. Ada improved to 4-0 with the win, while AE is 0-1 after losing its opener.
