PANDORA - Host Pandora-Gilboa outscored Ada 32-21 in the second half to pull away and register a 57-42 win in a girls basketball contest Tuesday night.
The non-league loss dropped Ada to 12-9, while P-G improved to 14-7 with the victory.
Bulldog senior guard Taylor Willeke led all scorers with 19 points, but no other Adaite reached double figures.
Megan Maag topped the balanced Rockets with 17 points while Ashley Williams contributed 12 points and seven rebounds. Teammate Keri Conine
also contributed 12 points.
Ada trailed 16-11 after the opening period but rallied slightly within 25-21 at intermission. But P-G extended the lead to 41-31 after three periods and cruised to the win with another 16-point flurry in the final stanza.
Ada sophomore Alexis Amburgey supported Willeke with eight points on the strength of two trifectas. Classmate Lindsay Walden also added eight markers.
The Lady Rockets out-rebounded the Bulldogs, 20-18. Ada committed just six turnovers to 13 by P-G. The victors outscored the visitors 23-11 at the

Ada (6-2 NWC) finishes its regular season and conference campaign at last-place Paulding (5-16, 0-8 NWC) Thursday night. With a victory, the Bulldogs will clinch at least a tie for second place with Lincolnview behind only Crestview, which would be their best finish in years.
