Lady Rams fall to Fairbanks The USV girls traveled to league foe Fairbanks on Thursday night and although had a one point lead at the half, ended up falling to the Panthers, 62-57. The Lady Rams are now 4-2 (1-1 NWCC), while Fairbanks improves to 4-1 (2-0 NWCC).
The Panthers leapt out to an early lead in the first period, 18-15, with two players hitting three-point goals. USV fought back though, holding Fairbanks to just nine points in the second, and getting the slight edge, 28-27 at halftime. Fairbanks didn't let it stay that way, adding 19 points to the score board in the third, including three more treys. Their five-point lead held until the end of the game, with both teams scoring 16 in the final stanza.
Katie Hicks was top scorer for the Lady Rams with 19, and Whitney Carroll followed behind with 16.

The Lady Rams will travel to Pandora-Gilboa on Tuesday night to face the Lady Rockets.
