Tigers shut out USV in league contest
In a NWCC matchup, the USV Rams traveled to Waynesfield to face the Tigers and were shut out 26-0. Both teams were plagued with fumbles during the rainy contest, and the Rams lost two intercepted passes that resulted in Tiger points. USV drops to 4-3 overall.

Quarterback Rhys Rose only completed 44 percent of his passes and was intercepted three times. Brandon Overs earned 44 yards in receiving and Colby Salyer gained 42.

Waynesfield-Goshen scored on a 46 yard interception in the first quarter but neither team could get to the end zone in the second.

In the third quarter, Tiger quarterback Connor Mortimer connected with Keaton Fetter and ran 13 yards to score. In the fourth quarter, Rose was intercepted by Nate Brassel for a 41 yard interception return.

The final tally by the Tigers was on a 29 yard run by Taylor Miller
