The USV golf team won two more matches on their home course at Colonial Hills against Bluffton (172-202) and Waynesfield (169-181). Senior Ram Wes Krummery was named Medalist in both contests for his low scores.
The Rams then traveled to Sycamore Springs Golf Course to face Arlington. USV fell in the match, 169-171, although Krummery was Medalist for the event with a score of 37.
The next afternoon, USV met Waynesfield on the Prairie View Golf Course, and were unsuccessful in obtaining the low score. The Tigers won 167-175, and W-G Dalton Buffenbarger was named Medalist with a score of 39.
vs. Bluffton scores:
Wes Krummery 39, Tommy Prater 44, Bradley Pickford 47, Ryan Sarver 54, Tyler Shepherd 42 and Seth Bischoff 49. JV golfers scores: Nick Sarver 46, Blake Watkins 49, Alex Parker 60 and Brandon Holbrook 62.
vs. Waynesfield scores:
Wes Krummery 38, Tommy Prater 47, Bradley Pickford 41, Ryan Sarver 43, Tyler Shepherd 48 and Blake Watkins 56.
vs. Arlington scores:
Wes Krummery 37, Tommy Prater 43, Bradley Pickford 45, Ryan Sarver 46, Tyler Shepherd 49, and Seth Bischoff 60.
vs. Waynesfield scores:
Wes Krummery 43, Tommy Prater 44, Bradley Pickford 49, Ryan Sarver 45, Tyler Shepherd 43 and Blake Watkins 45.
The Rams are now 6-3 (4-2 NWCC).
The USV JV squad were defeated by the Waynesfield JV by a score of 205-231. Scores included: Seth Bischoff 49, Brandon Holbrook 66, Nick Sarver 49 and Alex Parker 67.
The JV team took a loss at Arlington by a score of 206-239. Scores included: Nick Sarver 55, Alex Parker 73, Blake Watkins 49, and Brandon Holbrook 62.
Waynesfield pulled off a win over the USV JV team with a score of 188-230. Scores included: Nick Sarver 46, Brandon Holbrook 66, Seth Bischoff 49 and Alex Parker 69.
The USV JV Rams are 0-5.
