The USV golf team won their first conference match against Ridgemont, playing nine holes last Friday at Colonial Hills Golf Course. USV's total score was 157 compared to Ridgemont's 235. Ram Bradley Pickford was named a medalist with a winning score of 37.
His teammates' scores were:
Wes Krummery 39, Tommy Prater 41, Ryan Sarver 40, Tyler Shepherd 45 and Blake Watkins 49. Other Rams who played the course were Seth Bischoff 55, Nick Sarver 57, Brandon Holbrook 72, and Alex Parker, 72.
Ridgemont team members included Mason Caldwell 55, Gabe Gallo 64, Ben Roof 61, and Collin Ramge 55.
USV and Ridgemont met again Monday afternoon at Kenton's Memorial Park Golf Course.
After a second set of nine holes, USV won again with a score of 174 against Ridgemont's 213. USV's Wes Krummery was medalist with a score of 41.
Other team members' scores were:
Tommy Prater 46, Bradley Pickford 52, Ryan Sarver 43, Tyler Shepherd 44, and Seth Bischoff 49. Also playing for the Rams were Nick Sarver 48, Alex Parker 58, Blake Watkins 49 and Brandon Holbrook 69.
The Rams faced the Bluffton Pirates in non-league action on Tuesday afternoon, winning with a score of 169 over the Pirates' score of 218.
Medalist against Bluffton was Prater with a score of 38. His teammates' scores were:
Wes Krummery 41, Bradley Pickford 44, Ryan Sarver 49, Tyler Shepherd 46, and Nick Sarver 58.
Other Rams who played included Blake Watkins 59, Seth Bischoff 56, Brandon Holbrook 62, and Alex Parker 63.
USV is now 3-0 (2-0 NWCC).
