The Lady Rams won their second game of the season over their fellow NWCC league team from Marion Catholic. USV outscored the Fighting Irish 9-2, improving their record to 2-8 (1-2).
Pitching all seven innings was junior Whitney Anderson, who earned eight strikeouts, six assists and eight put-outs in the game.
Quickly scoring three in the first inning were Jenna Lautenschlager, Morgan Hunsicker and Shelby Conley. Jenna earned three RBI's and made a triple in the game. Doubles were earned by Morgan and Shelby.
Freshman Kiley Beale had a double play to end the sixth inning.
