ADA — Six members of the Ohio Northern baseball team were named Academic All-OAC in 2014.
Junior Derek Lenardos, sophomore Alex Crabtree, sophomore Ben Glischinski, sophomore Cody Meyer, sophomore Clay Small and sophomore Cal VonStein all earned honors.
A total of 302 student-athletes in baseball, softball, men's and women's golf, lacrosse, tennis and track and field among the league's 10 schools received the honor.
The award winners must be a sophomore or higher in class standing, maintain varsity status and have a cumulative grade-point- average of at least 3.50.

Lenardos, a mechanical engineering major, earns his first Academic All-OAC award.
This season, he appeared in 19 games, scoring 11 runs and stealing four bases.
Crabtree made nine appearances on the mound this season.

Glischinksi, a accounting major, earns his first Academic All-OAC honor.
This season, he went 3-1 with 36 strikeouts on his way to being named Second Team All-OAC.
Meyer appeared in 32 games in a utility role, while batting .253 and scoring 16 times.
This is the first Academic All-OAC honor for the mechanical engineering major.
Small, a pharmacy major, earns his first Academic All-OAC honor.
This season, he drove in 15 runs and scored 11 times.

Ohio Northern went 28-12 on the season and went 11-7 under third year head coach Gene Stechschulte. The 28 victories were the most since the 1995 season.
