ADA--Ohio Northern men's soccer coach Brent Ridenour has been named NSCAA Great Lakes Region Coach of the Year.

This is the second straight season that Ridenour has earned this award.

He guided the Polar Bears to a 25-3 overall record and a perfect 9-0 mark in OAC play.

Northern won their second straight OAC Regular Season Championship and their third consecutive OAC Tournament title.

In addition, Ridenour led the Polar Bears to their first appearance in the NCAA III Tournament Championship match.

Ridenour is the winningest coach in Ohio Northern men's soccer history, with a record of 219-90-24 (69.4 percent).

Ohio Northern also finished the season ranked No. 2 in the NSCAA/Continental Tire Coaches Poll and No. 3 in the poll.
