ARCADIA - Hardin Northern's baseball team scored in five straight innings Wednesday as the Polar Bears defeated Arcadia 13-5 in Blanchard Valley Conference action.

The Polar Bears (1-2, 1-7) started scoring in the second inning and scored in every inning until the seventh when the streak stopped. Hardin Northern scored three runs in each of the second and sixth innings and had a four run fourth inning.

Arcadia scored three times in the third inning for the majority of their runs.

Jacob Gossard picked up the win for Hardin Northern as he had 14 strikeouts in the game. Gossard also had a single and triple in the game as he drove in three runs.

Brett Roby had two singles and four RBI and Riley Drumm had three hits and three RBI
