ADA - The Ohio Northern University soccer teams are both ranked this season. Here is a look at both of the teams.

Men's soccer

ADA - The Ohio Northern men's soccer team is ranked No. 13 in the fourth weekly D3soccer.com poll Men's Division III poll and is No. 18 in the fourth weekly 2012 Continental Tire/NSCAA on Tuesday.



ONU has now been nationally ranked in four of the past five seasons.



In the D3soccer.com poll, Ohio Northern received 285 points and were ranked No. 8 in last week's poll.



Trinity (Tex.) is ranked No. 1, Messiah (Pa.) is second and Amherst (Mass.) is third.



In the NSCAA poll, the Polar Bears (9-2-0) were ranked No. 9 in the third poll last week, No. 12 in the second poll, No. 4 in the first weekly poll and were ranked No. 12 in the 2012 preseason poll and were No. 11 in the final 2011 NSCAA poll.



Trinity (Tex.) is ranked No. 1, Amherst (Mass.) is second and Messiah (Pa.) is third.



Last week, the Bears were defeated 2-0 by No. 21 Ohio Wesleyan. However, in back to back games last weekend, Northern posted victories against Thomas More (Ky.) 5-0 and Manchester (Ind.) 6-1.



The Polar Bears will return to action Saturday with a 3:30 pm match against Mount Union in the Ohio Athletic Conference opener at the ONU Soccer Field.

Womens soccer

ADA - The Ohio Northern women's soccer team is ranked No. 19 in the fourth weekly 2012 Continental Tire/NSCAA Men's Division III poll and is No. 21 in the fourth weekly D3soccer.com poll, which were released on Tuesday.



In the NSCAA poll, the Polar Bears (5-0-3) were ranked No. 20 in the third and second polls, were ranked No. 18 in the first weekly poll, were ranked No. 12 in the 2012 preseason poll and were No. 13 in the final 2011 NSCAA poll.



Emory (Ga.) is ranked No. 1, Trinity (Tex.) is second and Messiah (Pa.) is third.



In the D3soccer.com poll, Ohio Northern received 113 points and were ranked No. 22 in last week's poll.



Emory (Ga.) is ranked No. 1, Trinity (Tex.) is second and Messiah (Pa.) is third.



Last week, Northern had a tie againest Denison (1-1) and defeated Thomas More (Ky.) 1-0.



ONU has now been nationally ranked in each of the last two seasons.
