KENTON — Hardin Northern jumped out to an early lead Tuesday evening as the Polar Bears topped Lima Perry 57-36 in Division IV sectional action at Kenton.
The Polar Bears move to 5-17 on the season and will play Upper Scioto Valley Saturday evening at 6:15 p.m. for a sectional championship.
Hardin Northern had an 11-5 lead after the opening quarter, then broke the game open in the second quarter with a 21-12 scoring run for a 33-17 halftime lead. The Polar Bears outscored the Commodores in every quarter.
Kylee Hooker led the Polar Bears with a game high 16 points as she hit a pair of three-pointers in the game. Holly Wilson had a double-double with 11 points and 10 rebounds and Brooklynn Watts had 10 points and nine rebounds.. Michaela Curtis added eight points.
Lexis Davis had 10 points for Perry. Alexis Young added seven points.
