WAYNESFIELD - Visiting Ada outscored Waynesfield-Goshen 19-11 in the fourth quarter to break open a tight game and pull out a 60-51 non-league boys basketball victory Saturday night.



The win snapped a four-game losing skid and lifted the Bulldog record to 2-6. The winless Tigers dropped to 0-9 with the defeat.

Ada sophomore playmaker Brayden Sautter tallied 16 points to lead the Bulldogs to the win.

Senior Austin Dumbaugh, junior Levi Bass and junior Grant McBride each contributed 11 points for the balanced Ada attack.

The Bulldogs led 17-9 lead after the first quarter but just 28-26 at the half. Waynesfield was able to creep within 41-41 after three quarters, but they fell short in the quest for a first win.
