DELPHOS - Ada junior Tori Wyss was named first team All-Northwest Conference for girls basketball in voting conducted recently by league coaches at Delphos.
The versatile Wyss led the Lady Bulldogs (9-13, 3-5 NWC) in scoring, rebounds and free throws. The feisty junior also ranked among the team leaders in three-point goals, assists and steals.
Wyss led Ada in scoring in 16 of their 22 games.
Allen East senior Kaycee Rowe repeated as a first team all-league pick and was named NWC Player of the Year. She averaged 18.2 points, eight rebounds, 3.5 assists and 2.6 steals per game.
Rowe led AE to a 6-2 league mark and second place behind unbeaten champion Crestview.
Rowe received 119 of a possible 120 votes while junior Lindsey Motycka of Crestview was second with 109 votes. Wyss was third with 106.
Senior Sarah Schriner of Bluffton and junior Sydney McCluer of Columbus Grove round out the All-NWC first team.
AE junior Carly Clum was voted to the second team.
Ada junior Alexis Amburgey, a first cousin to Rowe, was voted honorable mention all-conference. She ranked second on the Lady Bulldogs in scoring.
Mustang senior Erin Conkle also earned honorable mention notice.
Greg Rickard of repeat league champion of Crestview was voted NWC Coach of the Year. It was the 15th all-time league crown for the Lady Knights.
