LIMA — The Allen East golf team finished fifth among the 17 teams at the eighth annual Colonial Golfers Club Tournament Tuesday.
The Mustangs finished fifth in the 17 team field with a score of 358. Liberty-Benton won the event with a 330, while Bluffton and Miami Valley were next with 353's. Patrick Henry was fourth with a 356.
Upper Scioto Valley finished 16th with a 434 and Ada was 17th with a 517.
Parker Frey led the Mustangs with a 79, which placed him fourth among the individuals. Kayen Richardson tied for seventh with individually with an 83. Matt Meyer had a 96 for Allen East and Grant Whitley a 100.
Patrick Henry's Jared Nelson had the low round of the day with a 77 and Liberty-Benton's Adam August had a 78. The Patriots' Aaron Tietje was third with a 79.
Blake Gratz led USV with a 90 and Cory Wolford had a 103. Doug Seibert finished with a 114 and Josh Brush had a 127.
Zach Park led Ada with a 109 and Brian Quillen had a 121. Gage Dunn had a 124 and Chandler Hughert had a 163.
