ADA - The Ada volleyball team was voted the top seed at the seven-team

Division IV Elida sectional in voting by the coaches Sunday.



The Lady Bulldogs (11-10) received the lone first round bye and will play

the Lincolnview/Ridgemont winner Saturday, October 20 at 6 p.m. for the

sectional crown.

Ada beat the Lady Lancers last year in a five-set final at the Elida

sectional. The Bulldogs beat Lincolnview and Ridgemont earlier this

season, and also defeated Perry and Waynesfield, two of the teams in the

other bracket in the Elida sectional to earn top seeding.

Lima Temple Christian was voted the second seed.

Lincolnview (7-11) vs. Ridgemont (2-14), Oct. 16, 6

Winner vs. Ada (11-10), Oct. 20, 6 p.m. for sectional title

Lima Temple Christian (12-6) vs. Waynesfield-Goshen (4-15), Oct. 17, 6

Ottoville (6-13) vs. Lima Perry (6-13), Oct. 17, 7:15



Winners meet Oct. 20, 7:15 for sectional title

Sectional winners advance to Van Wert District



Ada finishes its regular season Oct. 9 at Crestview. The Bulldogs will

then have 11 days off before the sectional final.
