LIMA — The Ada boys tennis team swept host Elida 5-0 Monday evening with the aid of two third-set tiebreak wins.

The victory improved the Bulldog record to 6-2 this spring.  

Junior Zach Beaschler stayed unbeaten at 7-0 with a 6-0, 6-0 win at first singles. Sophomore Cade Mullins also rolled at second singles without losing a single game.

Freshman Isaac Spar won a tough third singles battle in a third-set tiebreak, 10-6.

The Ada doubles tandem of Evan Smittle/Nate Hurtig also emerged victorious in a third-set tiebreaker, 10-8.

Justin Light/Ace Gamble won in straight sets at second doubles, dropping only one game.
