RAWSON - Ottawa-Glandorf captured the team title at Saturday's Cory-Rawson Duals by winning the tie-breaker over Ada, which finished a strong second at the five-team event.



The lone Bulldog loss came at the hands of O-G by a 48-30 count. Even though Ada and O-G both ended up 3-1, the Titans were ruled the team competition victor.

Cory-Rawson's Dylen Hartman was named the tournament's outstanding wrestler after he went unbeaten at 170 lbs.

Austin Windle (160 lbs.), Noah Beach (182) and Jared Woodland (195) were unbeaten to lead Ada's impressive 3-1 team record.

The Bulldogs defeated big-school Lima Senior 46-24, took out host Cory 36-30 and knocked off Grove 44-30.

Ottawa-Glandorf beat Cory-Rawson (42-32), Lima Senior (54-24) and Ada while dropping a 35-33 nailbiter to Columbus Grove.



Team Event Standings

1st place tie, Ottawa-Glandorf and Ada 3-1.

3rd place tie, Lima Senior and Columbus Grove 2-2.

5th place, Cory-Rawson 0-4.



Ada hosts its first-ever home matches Thursday evening, December 5 in a double-dual event.
