PANDORA - The Ada girls softball team whipped host Pandora-Gilboa 13-0 in a non-league contest Friday evening.
With their second win in as many nights, the Lady Bulldogs improved to 12-7. Meanwhile, the Rockets fell to 5-11 with the defeat.
Sophomore Ashley Sumner tossed a shutout and also collected two hits to lead Ada to victory in the run-rule shortened, five-inning game.
The Lady Bulldogs scored in every inning, including three runs in the first frame and six in the fourth.
Senior outfielder Alexis Gonzaga smacked a home run and a double, plus drove in two runs to pace the eight-hit Ada offense.
Junior Tori Wyss knocked in three runs and hit a single. Sophomore Mackenzie Wills collected two runs batted in with a single. Senior Katelyn Guagenti and junior Alexis Amburgey each added a single.
Sumner scattered five P-G singles to earn her seventh pitching victory this spring.
Shana Hovest, losing pitcher Megan Maag, Jenna Sigler, Brittany Reagle and Gethrie collected the five Rocket hits.

Ada will visit Van Buren in another non-league game Tuesday, May 13. They then host Hardin Northern in second round sectional play Thursday, May 15. 
The Bulldogs are 5-0 against Blanchard Valley Conference teams this spring, including a 5-2 win over HN in the season opener back on March 31.
