PAULDING - Ada scored four runs in the top of the first frame at Paulding and went on to post an 8-3 Northwest Conference makeup baseball victory Tuesday evening.
The second Bulldog league road win in as many days lifted their record to 4-13 overall and 2-5 in the NWC. The Panthers fell to 7-9 and 3-3 in league action with the defeat.
Southpaw Connor English earned his second pitching win while Shane Downing saved his second game in two nights.
Sophomore shortstop Brayden Sautter sparked the offense by smacking two hits, scoring three runs and stealing a base.
Downing also contributed a double and three runs batted in. Steven Gray added two hits, a run, one RBI and a stolen base.
The Bulldogs out-hit the Panthers 11-3. Paulding inched within 5-3 before Ada added three insurance runs in the top of the sixth inning to put the game out of reach.

Ada is slated to visit Ft. Jennings Wednesday in a non-league tilt. They host Delphos Jefferson (13-9, 4-3 NWC) Thursday in the last home league contest of the spring.
