Ada boys bury Gophers

ADA - The Ada baseball team snapped a nine-game losing streak with a 6-3 win over visiting Hardin County foe Ridgemont Wednesday evening.
The makeup-game win upped the Bulldog mark to 2-9 this spring.
Southpaw Connor English earned the pitching win for his first victory of the spring.
Ada trailed 3-0 heading into the bottom of the fifth inning. But the Bulldogs scored four runs in the home fifth to take the lead.
Ada added two more insurance runs in the bottom of the sixth to provide some breathing room and the final margin.
Bulldog sophomore Brayden Sautter paced the purple and gold offense with a double, two singles, one run scored and a stolen base. Alex Nichelson contributed two hits and an RBI.
