WAPAKONETA - The Ada boys finished a solid fourth and the Lady Bulldogs

were 13th amid a strong field at the 17-team Wapak/Celina Swim

Invitational Saturday at the Wapakoneta YMCA.

Lima Shawnee won the boys team title with 235 points, followed by Wapakoneta (201), Ottawa-Glandorf (169) and Ada (140).

Shawnee also won the girls team crown handily over O-G.

Several Bulldogs posted fine individual and relay finishes.

Ada junior Matthew Wilcox won first place in the 100 breaststroke with a

time of 1:03.32 to pace the Bulldog boys.

The quartet of the Wilcox brothers, Jon Robey and Karl Karcher won the 200

freestyle relay in 1:31.53.

The same foursome also won the 400 free relay in 3:28.02. The grouping

just missed out on sweeping three relay events when they came in second

during the 200 medley relay in 1:43.61.

Sophomore Mitchell Wilcox came in second in the 200 individual medley with

a time of 2:10.84.

Senior Robey finished second in the 100 butterfly in 56.55.

Senior Karcher took seventh in the 100 freestyle in a time of 56.42.
