  • ONU softball splits double header with Anderson

    ADA -- Senior Bree Hiteshew and junior Kelly Sheridan each hit 2-run home runs as the Ohio Northern softball team split a double header with Anderson (Ind.) on Wednesday afternoon.

  • VANLUE — Hardin Northern's softball team remained undefeated in the Blanchard Valley Conference with a 11-1, five inning, win over Vanlue Wednesday. 
  • ADA - The Ada baseball team snapped a nine-game losing streak with a 6-3 win over visiting Hardin County foe Ridgemont Wednesday evening. 
  • ADA - Ada junior Alexis Amburgey hurled six innings of three-hit shutout softball to pace the Lady Bulldogs to a 6-0 non-league win over visiting county foe Ridgemont Wednesday night. 
  • ADA - The Ben Logan boys and girls track teams each won a tough four-team meet hosted by Ada on a windy Tuesday evening.
    BL won the close girls competition with 72.5 points, followed by Ada in second with 65.5. Arlington came in third with 63 points while Kenton finished fourth with 57. 
  • VALPARAISO (Ind.) -- Senior Matt Magni fired his second career complete game to lead the Ohio Northern baseball team to a 2-1 victory at Division I Valparaiso (Ind.) on Tuesday afternoon. 
  • ADA -- Sophomore Rachael Miller won two times to lead the Ohio Northern women's tennis team in a 6-3 loss to Division II Walsh on Tuesday afternoon at the University Courts. 
  • LEIPSIC - Visiting Ada used a power show to score seven runs in the fifth inning and five in the second to lead to a 16-0 shutout of Leipsic in a non-league softball game Tuesday evening. 
  • RWSON — Addy Bame was strong in the circle for Cory-Rawson Monday as she pitched Hardin Northern to a 13-0, five inning, Blanchard Valley Conference win. 
  • MIDDLE POINT - Host Lincolnview jumped ahead early and never trailed in posting an 8-1 girls softball Northwest Conference win Monday evening over Ada. 
  • MIDDLE POINT - Host Lincolnview plated 11 runs in the first three innings and went on to post an 11-1 five-inning win over Ada Monday evening in a Northwest Conference baseball contest. 
  • LIMA - Ada scored five runs in the second inning and exploded for eight more in the fifth to out-slug host Lima Senior 15-6 under the lights Friday night in non-league softball action. 
  • McGUFFEY - The Ada softball team decisively swept a non-league doubleheader at rival Upper Scioto Valley Saturday, 9-1 and 10-0. 
  • McGUFFEY - Host Upper Scioto Valley outscored rival Ada 3-2 in a wild eighth inning to win the opener 12-11, then rode that momentum to complete a sweep by taking the nightcap 8-3 in a non-league baseball doubleheader
  • BEREA -- The Ohio Northern softball team used three big innings to record an 8-6, 11-3 sweep of Baldwin Wallace on Thursday afternoon at the Cuyahoga County Fairgrounds.
