    LIMA BATH — Polar Bears Ashton Dye and Holly Wilson combined to score 48 points and lead Hardin Northern past county rival Ada 60-49 in girls Div. IV first round sectional basketball action Tuesday evening at Bath.
  • HARROD — Upper Scioto Valley placed five players in double digits Tuesday evening on their way to a 75-18 Division IV sectional win over Lima Perry at Allen East High School.
  • ADA — Three-point bombing Lima Temple Christian took control with a 13-0 second quarter run and cruised to a 63-39 victory at Ada in non-conference boys basketball action Saturday night.
  • BOWLING GREEN — Ada freshman swimmer Klava Katayama qualified for the state meet by finishing second in the 100 freestyle race at the Div. II Bowling Green district meet held Friday evening.

  • ADA — The Ohio Northern men's basketball team celebrated Senior Night with a 98-55 victory over Otterbein on Wednesday night at the ONU Sports Center.
  • WESTERVILLE — No. 5-ranked Ohio Northern survived a late rally from Otterbein to remain undefeated on the season with a 61-59 women's basketball victory on Wednesday night at the Rike Center.
  • DOLA — Arlington erupted for 44 points in the middle two quarters Tuesday evening to defeat Hardin Northern 79-32 in non-league action.
  • WAPAKONETA — The Ada boys basketball team was seeded eighth out of 12 teams at the Allen East/Coldwater Div. IV super sectional drawings held Sunday at Wapakoneta.
  • LIMA — Ada freshman swimmer Klava Katayama qualified for districts by finishing in the top two in a pair of freestyle events at the 14-team Div. II Lima sectionals held Saturday in the YMCA.
