  • MINSTER — The Ada volleyball team placed fourth at the tough eight-team Minster Invitational Saturday.
  • BEREA — Sophomore Chelsea Huppert (Bremen, Ind.) was named to the All-Tournament Team as the No. 22-ranked Ohio Northern volleyball team swept Defiance, before defeating area-rival Bluffton 3-1 on the final day of the OAC/HCAC Challenge at the Rudolph Ursprung Gymnasium on Saturday afternoon.
  • ADA — Sophomore Rose Nienaber (Cincinnatti/Oak Hills) scored two goals to help lead the Ohio Northern women's soccer team to its fourth straight shutout victory at Thomas More (Ky.) on Saturday afternoon.
  • ADA -- Ohio Northern celebrated its Homecoming Weekend with a 35-7 football victory over Otterbein on a warm Saturday afternoon at Dial-Roberson Stadium.
  • SPENCERVILLE — Visiting Ada led by 10 points early but fell 21-17 to Spencerville in a hard-fought Northwest Conference battle at Memorial Field on an unseasonably warm Friday night.
  • BEREA — The No. 22-ranked Ohio Northern volleyball team opened the OAC/HCAC Challenge on Friday afternoon, sweeping Mt. St. Joseph and defeating Hanover (Ind.) at the Rudolph Ursprung Gymnasium.
  • ADA — The Ada girls soccer team was shut out 7-0 by visiting Van Buren Wednesday evening.
  • DELPHOS — Regular season champion Spencerville won the nine-team Northwest Conference golf tournament crown Wednesday at the Delphos Country Club.
  • ADA — The Ada volleyball team ran its Northwest Conference win streak to 10 matches with a sweep of visiting Delphos Jefferson Tuesday evening.
  • NEW KNOXVILLE — The visiting Ada boys soccer team defeated New Knoxville 5-3 Tuesday evening to win their sixth match in a row.
  • TIFFIN — Freshman Lydia Cranmer (Farmington Hills, Mich./Ladywood) fired a career-low 75 and claimed Medalist honor with an 80-75—155 to lead the Ohio Northern women's golf team to a third place finish at the 13-team Heidelberg Fall Invitational on Saturday-Sunday at Mohawk Country Club.
  • OBERLIN — Freshman Vinh Thai (Galloway/St. Charles) posted a 3-0 singles record to lead the Ohio Northern men's tennis team at the Oberlin Tournament Saturday and Sunday at Hunsinger Courts.
