  • FOSTORIA - The Ada boys and girls swim teams each finished first in a multi-team meet at Fostoria Saturday. 
  • VAN BUREN - The banged-up Ada wrestling team finished tied for 18th at the rugged 27-team Van Buren Invitational Friday and Saturday.
    Freshman Chase Sumner posted the top Bulldog finish, coming in third at 120 lbs. after winning a 10-9 decision over Rodriguez of Lincolnview. 
  • CLEVELAND - The Ohio Northern men's swimming and diving team fell to Case Western Saturday afternoon at the Veale Natatorium. 
  • DEFIANCE - Ohio Northern took first place as the team traveled to Defiance College's George M. Smart Center to compete in the Defiance College Invitational indoor track meet.

  • HARROD - Ada junior guard Blake Willeke caught a short in-bounds pass and swished a 12-foot fadeaway off the left baseline with a second left to lift the visiting Bulldogs to a 51-49 win over backyard rival Allen East in their annual Northwest Conference boys basketball grudge match Friday night. 
  • NORTH BALTIMORE — Hardin Northern struggled on offense Thursday evening as the Polar Bears fell to North Baltimore 41-26 in Blanchard Valley Conference action. 
  • Ada girls knock off rival Mustangs
    ADA - The host Ada girls basketball team pulled away late and defeated local league rival Allen East 45-38 in a closely-fought Northwest Conference basketball bout Thursday night. 
  • TIFFIN — A late run leads to a Ohio Northern 61-45 victory Wednesday evening over Heidelberg at the Seiberling Gymnasium. 
  • ADA — Freshmen Joey DiOrio and Jack Ellerhorst each had career nights, leading Ohio Northern to a 76-66 men's basketball victory over Heidelberg Wednesday night at the ONU Sports Center. 
  • TIFFIN — Top-ranked Cody Lovejoy got a first period pin over third-ranked Nino Majoy in the final bout of the night to lead Ohio Northern to a 21-12 victory at No. 26-ranked Heidelberg Tuesday evening in the Ohio Athletic Conference opener for both teams at Sieberling Gymnasium. 
  • RIDGEWAY — Allen East held Ridgemont to single digit scoring in the last three quarters as the Mustangs pulled away for a 74-38 non-league win Tuesday night. 
  • ARLINGTON — Arlington held off a second half rally by Upper Scioto Valley Tuesday evening to record a 73-58 non-league win. 
  • DOLA — Riverside outscored Hardin Northern in the third quarter Tuesday evening on their way to a 37-35 Northwest Central Conference win.
