  • ADA — The host Ada volleyball team bounced back from a first set loss to down feisty Pandora-Gilboa in four games during Div. III second round sectional volleyball action Thursday night.

  • UNIVERSITY HEIGHTS — The Ohio Northern football team scored touchdowns on both of its overtime possessions and got a big defensieve stop on a 4th and 8 to hold on for a 27-20 double overtime victory at John Carroll on a beautiful Saturday afternoon at Don Shula Stadium.
  • ASHLAND — The Ada girls soccer team lost at Ashland Crestview 9-1 in Div. III sectional first round play Saturday evening to be eliminated from the tournament.
  • VAN WERT — Ada sophomore Abbie James finished 12th in the Northwest Conference cross country championship meet at the Van Wert Reservoir Saturday morning.
