  • OTTAWA - Three Ada runners participated in the Div. III cross country district meet at chilly Ottawa Park on Saturday. 
  • HARROD - The staunch Ada defense stopped Allen East's Caleb Smelcer inside the one-yard line as time expired to preserve a thrilling 28-22 Northwest Conference gridiron rivalry win on a windy Friday night at Goodwin Field. 
  • ADA - The host Ada volleyball team battled state-ranked traditional power Marion Local tough before losing in four close sets 25-14, 19-25, 25-21, 25-18 Thursday evening in first round Div. IV sectional action. 
  • ADA - Ada visits traditional backyard league rival Allen East next Friday riding a nine-game win streak over the Mustangs.  
  • WESTERVILLE — The men's soccer team fell to Otterbein Tuesday night 2-1 at Clements Field.

     
  • ADA - Ada junior Sidney Faine was named first team All-Northwest Conference for girls soccer in voting conducted by league coaches this week. 
  • DELPHOS - Ada senior Lindsay Walden and freshman standout Melina Woods were each named first team All-Northwest Conference in volleyball at the coaches meeting in Delphos recently. 
  • COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio High School Athletic Association released its weekly football computer ratings Tuesday, Oct. 14. The weekly computer ratings are released every Tuesday afternoon beginning after the fourth week of the season, leading up to the final report on Sunday, Nov. 2. 
  • HARROD — Allen East’s girls soccer team oepned their second season Tuesday evening as they hosted Cory-Rawson in a Division III sectional semi-final. 
  • SPENCERVILLE - Columbus Grove swept the boys and girls Northwest Conference cross country titles at the league meet in Spencerville Saturday. 
  • ADA - Tickets will be six dollars for adults and four dollars for students for Thursday night's sectional semi-final volleyball match between Marion Local and Ada in Ada. 
  • ADA - Ada blocked a punt and returned it for a touchdown with 5:21 remaining, then held on with two clutch interceptions to knock visiting Crestview from the ranks of the unbeatens with a thrilling 22-15 Northwest Conference victory on a chilly Friday night. 
  • ADA — Chad Pever tallied two goals and passed out two assists to lead visiting Riverdale over Ada 7-1 in boys North Central Ohio Soccer Association play Thursday evening. 
  • BOWLING GREEN - Ada junior Mackenzie Wills won the first set against top seed Babette VonBoetticher of Napoleon in the first round of Div. II girls district tennis action Thursday at Bowling Green State University.
