To the Editor,

I am writing this letter to give recognition to some special people that made our Winter Wonderland a success during the seven seasons that we were at the Ada Park. Without the help of these fine folks, it would not have been as beautiful as it turned out each year.
We all took pride in the finished product when people came to visit with Santa and marvel at the lighting, ride on the horse drawn wagons and view the great corporate and club displays on opening night.

We did receive many compliments throughout the month from the folks that took the time to drive through and I was always grateful for that, but we had help and that is the purpose of this letter.

My loyal assistants each week were Tom Vermillion, George Gulbis, Jane Helser, and Mary Shuster. Some other people that were a great help are the student groups from ONU, Kenny Wolke and the park crew, Jolene and Bart Bailey, and the support of the Ada Area Chamber of Commerce. I know that I missed some people, but not intentionally.

I want to thank all of you for your contributions. Tom, George, and I have decided that we will "retire" from Winter Wonderland and give someone else the opportunity to jump in and get involved in this wonderful project.

We feel a bit disappointed about this, but I know that everything will turn out just fine. Please support this new venture at the Ada Depot Park.

Sincerely,

Grayfeather, Tom and George
