ADA - Sharon K. Binkley, 65, died Thursday, Nov. 1, at the Ohio State University Medical Center, Columbus. She was born on Mar. 26, 1947 to Larry H. and M. Kathryn (Phillips) Gudakunst , who preceded her in death. On Apr. 27, 1969, she married Raymond R. Binkley and he survives in Ada.

Sharon was a homemaker and had formerly worked for the United Telephone Company, of Lima, as an operator. Sharon was a member of the County Line Church of the Brethren, Rural Ada, and she attended many Bible Studies in the area. She was a Sunday School Teacher and a Vacation Bible School Volunteer. She was a graduate of Lima Senior High School, class of 1965, and attended an art school in Lima for 2 years. Sharon worked as a volunteer at the ReStore, of Ada.

Also surviving are two daughters: Amy (Rob) Cordrick and Brandy (Bill) England, both of Ada; eight grandchildren, Avery, Emily, Rebecca, Justin, Lucas, Levi, Raina and Sarah; and a brother, Don (Darlene) Gudakunst, of Florida.

A funeral service will begin at 11 a.m., on Wednesday, Nov. 7, at County Line Church of the Brethren, Ada, with Pastor Ray Hadley and Pastor Dave Thompson officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Ada.

Friends may call 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., on Tuesday, Nov. 6, at County Line Church of the Brethren, Ada, and one hour prior to the service at the church on Wednesday.
