PAULDING - Richard E. Luginbuhl, 80 died Friday, March 29, 2013. He was born in Bluffton, on Oct. 16, 1932, the son of Maynard and Alice (Simon) Luginbuhl. On August 3, 1952, he married Donna "Joan" Ream, who survives.

Richard retired, in 1992, from AEP Ohio after 40 years and was recently a carryout man for Chief Supermarket for 10 years. He was a member of Paulding United Methodist Church and was an a avid bowler, golfer, fisherman and Ohio State Buckeye fan.

He is survived by his wife, Joan Luginbuhl, of Paulding; his stepfather, Roe Lansing, of Ada; three children, Rebecca Jo (Donnal) Corbitt, Ft. Wayne, Kim R. (Kim M.) Luginbuhl, of Bridgman, Mich., and Holly (Kevin) Vance, of Paulding; one half sister, Cindy Luginbihl; two half brothers, Michael Luginbihl, and Patrick (Kim) Luginbihl; nine grandchildren: and twenty great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m., on Friday, April 5, at Paulding United Methodist Church with Rev. Ben Lowell officiating. Burial will be at 3 p.m., in Huntersville Cemetery, Hardin County.

Visitation will be from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m., on Thursday, April 4, at Den Herder Funeral Home, Paulding, and one hour prior to services on Friday at the church.
