FRANKLIN, Ohio - Richard R. Cunningham, 86, of Franklin, died Tuesday, April 16, 2013, at his home surrounded by his family. A native of Ada, he was the son of William and Minnie Cunningham. Dick was employed by the Franklin City Schools and he was a Veteran of the U.S. Navy Seabees.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 45 years, Betty; children, Charles Ray Howard, Loretta Kirby, and Brenda Joyce Howard. Dick is survived by his two sons, Larry (Shawn) and Richard (Leah) Cunningham; daughters, Maxie (Mirl) Back, Barb (Jim) Hallmark, Debbie Bryant, Sharon (Arlen) Campbell, Theresa (Tim) Mehl, Kathy Smith, Patty (Bob) Quigley, and Missy (Brian) Banks. He also leaves many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren and a sister, Mary McComb.

Funeral services were held on Saturday, April 20, 2013, at the Victory Tabernacle Church, Franklin. Burial was in Woodhill Cemetery.
