ADA — Mary Anne Hubin, age 85, died on Monday, January 1, 2018 at Vancrest of Ada.

She was born on September 1, 1932 in Madison, Wisconsin to Eugene and Phyllis (Frye) Hubin who preceded her in death.

Mary received her teaching degree at Mt. St. Joeseph College. She taught Elementary and music courses for a number of years. She was a co-founder of The Oak and Barn gift shop in Alger. She was active in display designs and purchasing. She is survived by a niece, Elaine Hughes of Quakertown Pennsylvania; and a nephew, Stephen Hubin, who lives in the United Kingdom.

Mary was preceded in death by a brother, Thomas Hubin.

Mary was loved and respected throughout the community and will be missed by her many friends and family.

Mary had requested to be cremated, with no services to follow.
