CRIDERSVILLE - Betty L. Lehman, 90, died at 3:50 a.m., on Tuesday, Dec. 1, 2012, at St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima. She was born Feb. 4, 1922, in Lima, to the late Arthur and Willhelmenia (Seith) Roth. On Aug. 16, 1946, she married Donald F. Lehman who died Jan. 13, 1994.

Mrs. Lehman was a retired registrar with Ohio University. She was a member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church and a former member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church, Ada, and Christ the King Lutheran Church in Athens, Ohio. She had formerly been a bookkeeper and payroll clerk in her husband's grocery stores in Ada, Tiffin, and Athens, and had been a member of the Cosmopolitan Club in Ada. She was a loving, generous, caring mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Having her family around was one of her greatest treasures.

She is survived by one son, Thomas F. (Connie) Lehman, of Ada; two daughters, Christine Ruda, of Miami, Fla., and Susan (Daniel) Kaufman, of Ft. Wayne, Ind.; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one brother, Leonard "Bud" (Sylvia) Roth, of Lima; one sister, Louise Parlette, of Sarasota, Fla.; and two sisters-in-law, Maxine (Len) Barhorst, of Sidney, and Marjorie Roth of Ocala, Fla. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Richard Roth and Robert Roth.

Funeral services were held on Saturday, Dec. 8, 2012, at Bayliff & Son Funeral Home, Cridersville with Pastor Jacob Lehman officiating. Burial followed in Woodlawn Cemetery, Ada.
