ADA - Beatrice A. "Bee" Lansing, 92, died at 8:20 a.m., on Wednesday, Oct. 10, 2012, at Mennonite Memorial Home, Bluffton. She was born on Sept. 8, 1920, in Newark, Ohio, to Lorenzo Dell and Lorah Alice (Dunn) Glover who preceded her in death. On Sept. 21, 1940, she married Floyd Franklin Lansing who died on Dec. 24, 1992.
Bee retired from Tripplet Electric in 1970 after working as a supervisor for seventeen years. She was a member of Ada Full Gospel Church and resided nearly all of her life in Ada. She was a member of the Hix & Chix Square Dance Club, of Maysville, and was a former co-owner of the Northland Mobile Home Court in Ada.
Survivors include one sister, Jean LaRue, of Bermuda Dunes, Calif.; one brother-in-law, Roe Lansing, of Ada; and one sister-in-law, Eula Young, of Ada; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Iris LaBarge, and Grace "Terry" Erickson; and five brothers, Clifford, Rev. Charles, Harley, John, and Richard Glover.
Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m., on Monday, Oct. 15, 2012, at Ada Full Gospel Church, with Rev. Karen Rarey officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery, in Lima. Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., on Monday, Oct. 15, at Ada Full Gospel Church.
