ADA - Ada O. Legge, 94, died Sunday, Jan. 6, 2013, at 3:45 p.m., at Lost Creek Care Center, Lima. She was born Jan. 23, 1918, in Prestonburg, Ky., to the late Willie and Hulda (Hall) Adams. On Aug. 9, 1935, she married John W. Legge and he died Sept. 17, 1981.
Ada was a homemaker.
Survivors include one son, John L. (Nancy) Legge, of Waynesfield; three daughters, Eileen Kindle, of Dunkirk, Katherine (Dave) Mallow, of Botkins, and Jane Bailey, of Deltona, Fl.; 24 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and 12 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death one son, Billy Dean Legge, in 1964; one daughter, Phyliss Samons, in 2006; two brothers; and four sisters.
Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m., on Thursday, Jan. 10, 2013, at Hanson-Neely Funeral Home, Ada, with Rev. Gerbert Darlington officiating. Burial will follow in Preston Cemetery, Alger. Friends may call two hours prior to the service, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., on Thursday, Jan. 10, at Hanson-Neely Funeral Home, Ada.
