ADA - Keeping your family safe is probably on the top of your list of priorities, but sadly in this age of advanced technology and social awareness, that task can be made even more difficult. Help is available and you don't have to go far to get it.

The Partnership for Violence Free Families, along with the Hardin County Sheriff's Office will be sponsoring four upcoming workshops focused on the prevention of teen bullying, dating violence and family safety.

The first workshop of the four-part series will be held in Ada on Friday, Jan. 11, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., at the Dicke Forum Hall at Ohio Northern University. Programs focusing on the abuse of elderly and disabled persons, human trafficking in Ohio, and teen dating violence are also planned.

Each workshop is free and open to the public and will feature information and resources that parents can use to help keep their families safe.
