A parenting class series is being offered by the Ohio State University Extension, Hancock County. It will be held from 6:00 - 9:00 p.m. on Mondays, October 24, 31, and November 7, 2010. Sessions will be held at the Ohio State University Extension, Hancock County Office located in the Hancock County Agricultural Service Center at 7868 CR 140, Findlay.
Barbara A. Brahm, Extension Educator, Family and Consumer Sciences and Community Development, will teach the class on the following topics: “Parenting Styles and Child Development”, “Disciplining Your Child”, “Communication in the Family”, “Building Family Strengths”, “Nutrition” and “Stress”.
Registration is open to all interested persons. Fee for the class (all three sessions) is $18 per person; or $30 per couple; or $7 per session per person. Class size is limited. To register, call the Extension Office at 419-422-3851. Child care is not available.
