ADA - The Ada Lions Club Free Movie Day was held on Saturday, Dec 15, at the Ada Movie Theatre. The club rented the movie theatre and showed 'Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer' at noon, and 'How the Grinch Stole Christmas' at 1:30 p.m. Children in grades K-6 were invited, as well as their parents. There were about 85 children who viewed the movies. The Lions provided each child with a small pop and a small popcorn at the theatre concession stand. As an added treat, the Club contacted Santa to attend the movie event. He took a lot of Christmas requests, pictures, and sat beside some very lucky children during the movies. The event was a gift from the Ada Lions' Club to the children of the community. The Ada Lions' thanks everyone who helped with this project and thanks to the community who is so supportive of all the projects. Merry Christmas to all!
