ADA - After releasing his "Mean Fifteen" sponsors via Facebook and Twitter last week, Jon Henry is set to release his "key events" schedule for the 2013 racing season. Over the weekend, the "Steel Driver" also competed for the first time this season.

Henry ventured to La Salle Speedway in La Salle, Ill., on Friday and Saturday March 29 and 30 to compete in his first events of the year, coming away with a fast time in group qualifying and a heat race win on Friday night followed by a top 15 finish on Saturday night.

"It was an up and down weekend for us," Henry admitted. "We learned a lot of things and it was good to brush the rust off as we get ready for the rest of our season."

Last week, Henry released the names of his "Mean Fifteen" sponsors - a group of 15 supporters who have banded together to form one mega sponsorship for the northwest Ohio hotshoe. Those sponsors are as follows: Fultz Fabrications, Mansfield; Henry Farms, Ada; Mike & Sheila Keller, Lima; Truman Quarterhorses, Kenton; Lehman & Lehman, La Porte, Ind.; Norada Lanes, Ada; Associated Plastics, Ada; Home Savings and Loan, Kenton; William H. Bass Trucking, Ada; Ron Spencer Real Estate, Lima; Jim Weber Motorsports, Sylvania; Automated Transport, Kenton; In Memory of Darrell Kirsch 1957-2013, Mansfield; Re-Deck of Northwest Ohio, Ada; and Fremont Speedway, Fremont.

In addition, Henry is releasing his "key events" schedule for 2013. The tentative list of races includes the most notable events JHR will be hitting this season.
