DOLA - The Hardin Northern Guidance Department will be offering an informational meeting on Financial Aid on Wednesday, Jan. 16, at 7 p.m., in the new computer lab. This will be a basic overview of financial aid, FAFSA, scholarships, and college readiness. This information was presented to the seniors before Christmas break, but any parent that would like to hear it for themselves should attend.

A second meeting will follow at 7:45 p.m., in the same location for parents of students in grades 9-12 interested in information on Post Secondary Option and Dual Credit. Post Secondary Option allows students to attend a local university and take college courses. Dual credit courses allow students to take Hardin Northern courses for college credit. Hardin Northern offers nine courses on-site worth 29 semester hours of college credit at little or no cost to parents or students. Come and find out more on Wednesday, Jan. 16, at 7:45 pm.
