ADA - The Community Health Professionals building was a busy place Wednesday, Dec.12, when Ada Senior Citizens met to bring cookies, candy and fruit to fill bags for area shut ins. 32 bags were filled and later delivered to people in the area who spend a lot of time at home. Bags were also delivered to nursing home residents. Phyllis Scott, Phyllis Conley, and Judy Magee delivered the bags. Many of the group left to attend the senior citizens dinner and program at Ada schools but a dozen stayed behind to have lunch and play a Christmas game that involved a gift exchange.
The group will not meet again this month. The first meeting of 2013 will be on Wednesday, Jan. 9, at the Community Health Professionals building, at 12:30 p.m. The 2013 dues of $10 can be paid at any time or sent to the treasurer, Mrs. Conley, at 203 E. North Ave., Ada, Ohio 45810.
