Comet viewing at the ONU Observatory

ADA - The ONU Astronomy Club invites everyone to attend a public viewing of a comet named C/2011 L4 Pan-STARRS. The date is Friday, March 15. They will open earlier than usual, around 7:45 p.m., in order to spot the comet before it sets around 9:11 p.m. They will continue observing objects like the crescent moon and Jupiter until 9:45 p.m.Binoculars and telescopes will be provided in order to see it with better detail. Pan-STARRS will never return to the inner solar system, but another comet, ISON, is predicted to be even brighter in December 2013.
