KENTON - The Hardin County Homemakers Christmas Committee gathered at the Hardin County Extension Office to plan for the annual Christmas Luncheon and Program scheduled for Tuesday, Dec. 4.

The day-long event will be held at the First Baptist Church, in Kenton, and the luncheon will be catered by Barb McQuown consisting of scalloped chicken, green beans, fresh fruit, a choice of desserts and drinks.

Each person attending is asked, but not required, to bring a "white elephant" gift for a fun part of the program. This is not intended to be a serious gift.

All interested persons are asked to hold the Dec. 4 date and watch for other details to be announced. The event is open to all persons and will include beautiful decorations, inspiring and entertaining programs, great food and a good time of fellowship.
