ADA — Thanks to the Ada Lions Club, the first 200 children who show up to beat the heat at the Ada Village Pool on Saturday, Aug. 9, will swim for free. The Lions are making this possible as part of the Farmers & Merchants Picnic event. The pool will be open from 1 to 8 p.m. Note: If the weather poses a safety issue, the pool will close per policy.
