ADA — The Ada Youth Wrestling Club would like to announce they will be having wrestling sign-ups on Sunday, Oct. 18, from 4:30 – 6 p.m. at the Ada High School Wrestling Room (located in the brown building by the bus garage) and Tuesday, Oct. 20, from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at the Ada School Cafeteria (located West of the Ada High School Gym). This will be for boys and girls 5-12 years old. All experience levels, from beginner to advanced, are welcome to participate. The club accepts children from all surrounding communities.

The club is a member of the Miami Valley Kids Wrestling Association (MVKWA) based in Dayton. The MVKWA has more than 70 clubs that participate in local tournaments weekly from December through February.

The goal of the club is to teach your child how to wrestle and compete safely while practicing sportsmanship along the way. Each child will be taught the basic techniques and skills needed to be competitive at their skill level. As your child’s skill level advances, so will the level of training he or she will receive. Each child will be monitored during the season and provide individual attention with our experienced coaching staff.

This will be the 11th season for the club and growing interest continues to help each season be more successful than the last. This season they have hopes of more participants and community support to help guide our sport. The club is looking for elementary age children up to children preparing to enter Junior High. This area has many successful wrestling programs and we are proud to be part of that group.
